Deli Meat

Artist, Kate Jones, darkly satirizes the objectification of women and exploitation of young girls. The barbarism of these misconducts is global. Developed nations shop in third world nations for the less fortunate, more defenseless, solely to satisfy cruel and depraved fetishes.

This new series of work, “Deli Meat,” characterizes the aforementioned evils through the use of the Artist’s own portraits, taken at varying times in her youth.
